Matter user guide
Matter 1.0 combines two-dimensional cellular simulation with terrain authoring, URP rendering, heat, phase changes, reactions and world persistence. Compute simulation is preferred on compatible hardware; Burst CPU supports explicit CPU and compute-free configurations.

Build a production integration
Read Core concepts for ownership and assembly boundaries. Use the API guide for supported integration entry points and the compiled reference for exact signatures. Sample controllers demonstrate integrations and remain separate from the supported core API.
Core Matter does not require a networking library. The FishNet add-on is separately distributed and has its own compatibility and release status.
